To all environmentally conscious people who love Porsche there is a great news because a Zero emission Porsche 911 GT3 RS is created. Only one of its kind, the vehicle is dubbed the Ferdinand after the legendary Porsche founder. Unfortunately the car has nothing to do with Porsche, other than being shaped like a 911. This Porsche 911 GT3 RS is also the slowest one sans fun but only serious concerns at the core.

The golden finish of the Ferdinand GT3 RS may look impressive, but you’ll be surprised to know it’s just gold-painted duct tape, covering the plastic tube frame of the car that makes this unique vehicle weigh only 99.6kg (219.6 lbs). Since it doesn’t even have an engine, you’re probably wondering how it works. This DIY vehicle is powered by pedals. Just like on a bike, you’ll have to make good use of your legs, to get from one place to another. It features a “gold-painted” exterior, has a big rear wing and “massive air inlets at the front spoiler to save the driver from sweating too much.”

The vehicle is silent, has no emissions and almost no running costs. Checkout the video after the jump to see pedal powered Porsche’s 911 GT3 RS debut run at the Salzburgring and is shown at Lentos – Museum of Art Linz in Austria.
