Bad Christmas Traditions in UK

In UK, the weekend before Christmas is traditionally a celebratory occasion and revelers are out in full force, drinking and partying. In preparation for this time, a centre for drunks was set up in Soho at a cost of $810 000 (£500 000) to the government. Paramedics are kept busy dealing with injuries caused from silly drunken accidents and fights. In Newcastle, they received 1200 emergency calls on Friday alone.
